The course adapts to your current level of knowledge, so the length varies based on your experience and skill level. Here’s a quick rundown of typical completion times:
BLS: 1–2 hours
ACLS or PALS: 3–4 hours
You can complete the course at your own pace. Feel free to start, stop, and resume whenever you’re ready—you don’t need to finish it in one sitting.

During the session, the VAM (voice-assisted manikin) will guide you step by step through the process. There won’t be an instructor present, but no need to worry—if you have questions, you can call our office for assistance at any time.
Our friendly and dedicated team is just a call away to ensure you have a smooth and stress-free testing experience.
Taking the BLS or CPR/First-Aid course? Here’s what you need to know to get prepared.
Arrive at your testing location on the date and time you selected during registration. Don’t forget your phone—the instructor will connect with you either via text or through the cameras in the room to kick off your skills testing session.
Our virtual American Heart Association-certified instructor will guide you step-by-step through the required skills. Best of all, you’ll receive your certification card on the same day as the class!
When you attend our course, you’ll receive a free keychain CPR training mask in your choice of assorted colors.
CPR masks are essential for performing CPR safely. Using a CPR breathing mask helps ensure protection when practicing universal precautions. It’s a small tool that makes a big difference.
After completing your American Heart Association training, we’d love it if you could leave us a review on Google, Yelp, or Facebook. Your feedback helps our women-owned business thrive. Thank you for supporting us!
Performing chest compressions during CPR takes a toll on your body. When you register for a class, keep in mind that practicing on a manikin can strain your hands, wrists, arms, or other parts of your body. If you have pre-existing physical conditions—like pain, carpal tunnel, weakness, or injuries—we recommend waiting until you feel better to participate.
If you feel fatigued or run out of time before finishing your skills, don’t worry. Just call our office, and we’ll help you reschedule at no additional cost. You’re also welcome to stay in the room and complete your skills when you’re ready.
Reschedule/Cancellation Policy
We don’t offer refunds once you’ve registered, but you can still reschedule your course anytime. Each reschedule requires a $30 fee. If you’re ready to make a change, simply pay the fee below.
